Hi friends. 

I had a blog many many years ago, back in the wild wild west days of the internet. I’ve always loved the idea of sharing our adventures online but it just never felt right. But after 7 years on the East Coast I’ve found myself back in California and reviving my blog felt like a good idea. 

When Scott and I loaded up our car and headed east we had no idea we’d spend seven years in Norfolk, VA and fall in love with that little southern town on the coast. We also never imagined we’d head back west one day and do so with our spunky 3.5 year old daughter. 

Now we’re spending 18 months in Monterey, CA {we’re already 6 months down!} and made it our mission to take a lot of weekend adventures both around Monterey and all of California.

Random facts about me:

1. I’ve lived all over the US: Minnesota, New York, South Carolina, Illinois, California, Hawaii, and Virginia. 
2. I’ve never broken a bone.
3. I don’t have depth perception so I was told as a kid I couldn’t be a surgeon or a pilot.
4. I’ve been a runner since I was 14 years old. 
5. I L O V E Gilmore girls, but I’m not some newbie fan, I watched the show when it originally aired many many years ago. 
6. I am not a fan of flying, but I do it because I love visiting new cities.
